Large pygmy rattlesnake over two foot found stretched out on the side of the path

Habitat:

Slightly wooded area lots of leaf litter with multiple streams near by.

Just saying you never know when collectors or people looking to kill the animals will strike so the location of this animal is wrong

P.S. So sorry on the blotched water snake, you are of course correct on that. I can only plead exhaustion and pain. I tried to find it again last night as soon as I realized it, but could not and gave up :-)
