Argiope aurantia
Arachnid, with large legs, yellow base and at the finish black. It has somes yellow marks in the abdomen, and the chest has a big yellow mark too.
Well this is an arachnid that I found in a tropical forest near to the Sierra Madre Oriental.
Generally the females weaves its web with a vertical "Z" line at the center
Definitely it's a Argiope aurantia... I've been reading and checking and you're right, thanks Aaron_G
It's not unreasonable to think A. aurantia ranges down into Mexico, so this is my guess based on what I can see. It looks a lot like the females I see in Oklahoma, USA.
