Writting spider, corn spider or b/y garden spider (araña escritora)

Argiope aurantia

Description:

Arachnid, with large legs, yellow base and at the finish black. It has somes yellow marks in the abdomen, and the chest has a big yellow mark too.

Habitat:

Well this is an arachnid that I found in a tropical forest near to the Sierra Madre Oriental.

Notes:

Generally the females weaves its web with a vertical "Z" line at the center

It's not unreasonable to think A. aurantia ranges down into Mexico, so this is my guess based on what I can see. It looks a lot like the females I see in Oklahoma, USA.
