Anoles that are severely stressed or ill will often become very dark. I haven't seen one quite this dark either. I agree, this one does look thin.

Why is this individual so dark these are supposed to be bright green and heavily bodied this one looks thin.

Beautiful lizard! This is an introduced species which has established itself in Florida. It is the largest species of Anole. They are originally from Cuba.
