Hoya verticillata
Hoya plant been shown in recent studies at the University of Georgia to be an excellent remover of pollutants in the indoor environment. It has the ability to drastically reduce levels of indoor pollutants, according to new research at the University of Georgia. Researchers showed that it can effectively remove air-borne contaminants, including harmful volatile organic compounds, suggesting a critical new role for plants in home and office environments. Photo #4 shows a Hoya vine by the window of our kitchen.
