Description:

It is a common species to North Texas and North America.The moth when resting has two position, one is like any other geometridae by spreading both pairs wings two the sides.The other is an intresting way that is done by many geometrid moths, it is by folding it up like a butterfly.The moth has black and brown markings on the wings.

Habitat:

They live in open areas and urban areas but this one was attracted to a black light.

Notes:

There caterpillars can feed on many plants and weeds.
