Densely packed, white hairy mold on a common earthball (Scleroderma citrinum). I couldn't detect any sac-like sporangia like most pin molds have.
Found in broadleaf forest drainage ditch.
Over the years I've spotted similar looking molds on bolete mushrooms and Russula mushrooms, though never on a earthball. I've yet to find some information or a lead to a possible ID for this mold, so suggestions are more than welcome. Spotted in Paleispark 't Loo in rural area of Apeldoorn, Holland.

Thanks again, Neil! It almost looked like cotton wool so luckily easy to spot among the autumn leaves.
I've never seen this before. Amazing spotting, Jae.
