Description:

Sprawling or climbing plant with thin stems and groups of three leaflets. Flowers of this plant were white but they can be white to pink. They grow in small clusters and are tubular. The roots and seeds are edible.

Habitat:

Temperate forest, mostly shaded areas. Rockwood Park, Virginia.
