H. axyridis succinea
An orange-brown ladybird with 18 black spots- this species is incredibly invasive and was introduced to Britain in 2004. They are poisonous to other insects and frequently hibernate near houses and buildings.
Outside my house
This specimen was dead unfortunately- i only submitted this spotting because I'm aware there is a whole family living under the shed.
