Description:

This worm had long thin hairs. I was about 3 - 4 cm long eating away at a stem of wild grass.

Habitat:

Grass growing on sand dunes 2km away from the ocean.

Notes:

Many species retain distasteful or poisonous chemicals acquired from their host plants.
