Hyla versicolor or Hyla chrysoscelis
The Gray tree frog has bright yellow - orange coloration on the inside of the hind legs, which is normally hidden, except when the frog leaps. This "flash" coloration is thought to confuse predators as the frog makes its escape.
Eastern North America as far west as Texas. Wooded areas, mostly arboreal.
Observed at night.
