Description:

The cicádidos ( cicada ) , commonly known as crickets , cicadas , coyuyos , chiquilichis or cycads in its nymphal stage, are a family of insects of the order Homoptera (now belonging to hemiptera ) . Cicadas can live in both temperate and tropical climates . They have a full life development lasting from 2-17 years, depending on the species. The nymphs live buried while adults live on plants , feeding on sap . The frequency of vibration or buzzer emits a song that can reach 86 Hz .

Habitat:

The nymphs live in the land of 2-17 years ( depending on species ) and feed on the sap of the roots.
