ornithoptera80, do any of the first few instars of the tussucks not have any predominant bristles by chance too?

looks alot like Spilosoma virginica, but one feature it doesn't have is the distinctive line down the middle.Here is a link;https://tomato.to/photo/40943755883/virginian-tiger-moth-spilosoma-virginica

Thanks, ornithoptera80! Wonder if we could get it further narrowed down. I don't think I've seen one yet without the big front bristles, like the other tussock I found awhile back.
