Red-winged Blackbird

Agelaus phoeniceus

Description:

The male red-winged blackbird is jet black with red and yellow patches on upper wings, pointed black bill. The female is heavily streaked brown bird with a pointed brown bill and white eyebrows. These birds seems to travel in flocks.

Habitat:

These red-winged blackbirds were spotted at Grayton Beach State Park, Santa Rosa, Florida. Really liked the bird feeder we set up at our campsite.
