Mississippi Kite

Ictinia mississippiensis

Notes:

With all the fires in our state and 100+ temps, its been hard on the animals as well as people. A family of Mississippi Kites have been showing up at my parents house to take turns bathing in their sprinkler. It hits just at the bottom of the branches, and they will sit in it for hours. *Added pics 08/13/12
