It was big. I might be over estimate the figures but I would like to stick to 20 cm wingspan.
Hi John! I liked your spottings! I'm not a pn ranger: a member just like you - still learning! But your measurements are wrong: 20cm will be about 8 inches long, or wide, i.e. maximum distance between two fingers of a 6-footer man.And it can't be 20mm either, because this butterfly is bigger than that. I always keep a scale with me and measure my fingers, small pieces of papers, etc. and extrapolate that for butterflies (we cant measure them!). But I take moth measurements! Good luck.
