Description:

Beetles of some type. One light brown and the other darker reddish brown to black color.

Habitat:

Wooded area. Found inside rotting tree.

I've found an Ox Beetle on a different date. I'm not sure if these could be female or juvenile of the same species.

Hi there. All beetles in this spotting are the same species. The lead image - a great one, by the way - looks like one that has just eclosed and become an adult. Nice find!
