Thomisus onustus / Genus Thomisus
Hi Arvin,Pic#2 is a different species. It is Thomisus iswadus, similar to my spotting - http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/148.... Note the posterior view of abdomen which is projected outwards (in Tagalog "iswad").Pic#1&3, I am still not sure if T. okinawensis or T. ilocanus. Could you also take a look at the illustrations in this book? - http://books.google.com.ph/books?id=AugA...
Nice captures :) I think pic 2 (on yellow alder flower) should account for a separate spotting.
@yog134, tnx :) Brgy. Casuntingan, MacArthur, Leyte, before Abuyog Town.
Where in Leyte? nice pic :)
I think you're correct. Thank You!
