Blue-faced Honeyeater

Entomyzon cyanotis

Description:

One of the larger honeyeaters, these birds are often found in pairs, but more commonly in mixed feeding flocks. These flocks contain six to eight birds, though as many as 30 may be together. They usually include Yellow-throated Miners, Rainbow Lorikeets & Friar Birds & smaller honeyeaters. They feed on insects,nectar, fruits, pollen, bananas & pears.

Habitat:

Found in Northern & Eastern Australia.
