House Finch

Haemorhous mexicanus

Description:

Bright-red headed bird with brown and white feathers.

Habitat:

Spotted on a roof over an Aztec ruin in the center of Mexico City on a dry, hot day.

Notes:

This really shouldn't be too hard to identify, but I just couldn't get any closer and I don't know the birds in the area that well.
