Description:

24 to 32 inch long lizard-like reptile standing 5 to 7 inches tall. Bright orange head with a clearly defined black body a white rear area to one half of the tail then a clearly defined orange section or band of the tail ending with a grey/black tip of the tail. Very striking colors. Very swift movements.

Habitat:

Man-made rainforest area.

Notes:

Sub-saharan desert lizard that has made a home in the man-made desert area at Fairchild.
