Habitat:

Suburban backyard, surrounded by mostly rural areas.

Notes:

Played dead at first. Later, when I tried to photograph it, it wouldn't stop moving.

Hi Keith thank you for answering my question.I visited America ,maybe he hitched a ride back with one of us.I gave it to Jeff the pest control over a week ago and still haven,t heard from him.

According to Wikipedia page they are not found in Australia.

I live in Australia (western australia Boulder) and found one of these in my house.I asked Jeff Walker who has worked a a pest control in our area for many years, Jeff is in his seventies and has never seen one of these and didn,t know what it was.When I found it it played dead.I have a picture of it on my facebook page.Can you please tell me if they are found in Australia.
