Diadophis punctatus edwardsi

Description:

The ringneck snake is identified from its gray color with a yellow/orange ring around its neck and a yellow/orange underside. The subspecies edwardi is differentiated from the southern ringneck by having a complete neck ring and a non-patterned underside.

Found under a rock with another of the same species.
