Description:

This is very common in the native vegetation. It's in an area near river sources.

Habitat:

This vegetation zone is called "Mata de cocais" (something like coconut forest) and is a transition between the semi-arid region and amazon. The species are especially palm trees, like Buriti, Babaçu, Juraça, Carnaúba, Tucum etc, all with different edible fruit.
