Description:

Bright orange, thin but broad tiers of fungus looking like giant pencil shavings. Upper surface had concentric markings of alternating pale and dark brown colour. Margins were almost white. Under surface was smooth with fine pores.

Habitat:

Found on dead eucalyptus stump - tall eucalyptus forest

Notes:

Photos do not do justice to the bright orange colouring of this attractive fungus...
