Description:

A medium-sized bird with a long tail. Mostly black with a white belly and wing patches. Also a portion of the back and tail are iridescent blue.

Habitat:

Spotted along Wilson Creek at Helen McCabe State Park. A common bird found in open forests and farmlands in eastern Washington.
