Blepharis sindica

Description:

Blepharis sindica is a desert perennial plant. Stems hairy. It has shy but beautiful blue flowers that are hidden within spiny spikes. The sikes flower bracts are beai=utiful as well and remind its realtive - Acanthus. The fruit is a haieless shiny brown capsule. Capsules are kept in the dry spikes for ears untull there is enough rain for germination, when they will be dispersed.
