A small flea beetle with metallic red tones.
Found on a Eucalyptus leaf
The net is used to hold under the specimen while photographing. Beetles often drop into the grass when disturbed and can be lost before a decent image is taken.

Not sure it is a fea beetle (hind femora should be swollen for jumping). Certainly a chrysomelid, though
