Thanks for explaining that this is an iPhone attempt. Apologies if my comment came across as "grading" your spotting. That was not the intention. And the comment about not including the words "scientific name" was meant as guidance also for others who view your spotting and might be new to Noah. As a ranger, I was trying to be helpful to you and others who see the spotting. Hopefully, this will not diminish your enjoyment and contributions to Noah. Have a nice day!

I attempted this post for the first time using my iPhone. It needs help. If you would have taken the time to view my previous posts, you would find that I am well aware of how to post spottings. I wasn't aware that there were "teachers" grading mt work. I didn't like teachers when I was young and I dislike them even more now.

Was the bird very close or did you zoom in a lot? Nice close-up but it would be even better if we could see the whole bird. In the field for scientific name, you can simply put the Latin name and leave out "scientific name".
