Central Texas Cedar (Ash Juniper). Despised by allergy sufferers in late winter when it's pollen drifts in visible clouds. Critical Habitat for the endangered Golden Cheeked Warbler (bark strips are used to make nests) In the case of this unlucky specimen, a handy fence post.
