African Pygmy Kingfisher

Ispidina picta

Habitat:

Brachystegia woodland

Notes:

This beautiful little bird crashed into a window of our office. Fortunately he wasn't hurt too badly, and we took the opportunity to take some pictures of him. After about a minute he took off again.

Hi dominiquenoome, this was a lovely spotting. I took some liberty and included it in two African wildlife missions. Hope you will not mind my intervention. Cheers
