Caterpillars are the larval form of members of the order Lepidoptera (the insect order comprising butterflies and moths). Many caterpillars are cryptically coloured and resemble the plants on which they feed and may even have parts that mimic plant parts such as thorns
All the splendid creatures eating away at my flowers. Very colorful worm. About 5 cm long. No idea what it is or what it will turn into.

Cool, thank you. Ive decided to go ahead and name it Caterpillar. Is there a Latin name for that perhaps? This caterpillar could turn into anything I expect.
Stunning insect there. I would expect a moth to grow from this caterpillar, some grow to caterpillars but there's no sure way to tell, unless you already know. They are usually not as colorful when they grow up.
thank you ChunXing
Nice colors on this spotting Smith'sZoo.
