Description:

Larger Geometrid moth. Tan wings with darker bands and dots. Dark wavy lines on all four wings near the outer margins. This species is variable in color. Some moths of this species don't have the dark lines on the margins but lighter ones instead. Habitat:

Rural yard, attracted to the lights on the outside of the house.

Notes:

I saw three or four Geometrid moths on this particular night. This one was one of the larger ones.
