Nymphalid Butterfly

Cosmosatyrus leptoneuroides

I saw this Nymphalid Butterfly species frequently throughout Patagonia in Chile and Argentina. This one was spotted while I was hiking to Lago Nordenskjöldin, Torres del Paine National Park, Chile. I did not get any photos with the wings opened. It was approximately 4 cm.
