Description:

Purple flower, thorny leaves. Herbaceous plant, perennial, it can grow up to 2 m. Very pubescent plant. In this case, it is been polinated by a bumblebee.

Habitat:

Pinus hartwegii forest and alpine grassland

Notes:

Cirsium is a gender with 200 species, they mainly habit boreal hemisphere, it is broadly diversified in the valley of Mexico. It is commonly named "cardo".

uy Jorge..sólo sé que es abejorro pero no conozco especies de ellos, me dedico más bien a las plantas de bosques templados, pero se me hizo bien lindo el bichito, a estos les encanta visitar estas flores...gracias
