Alpine Forget-me-not

Myosotis alpestris

Description:

Blooms late May to June. Perennial plant, 6" to 15" tall, long-stemmed blue-green leaves with many stiff hairs. Flowers 1/4" to 3/8" across with 5 rounded petals joined at the base with a yellow eye surrounded by white.

Habitat:

Sub-alpine and alpine meadows and slopes throughout most of Alaska.
