Tarachodes sp possibly afzelii

Description:

bark mantids cryptically colored to blend in with their surroundings. Many species in this genus guard their egg masses

Notes:

It flew off and was almost snatched up by a waiting Vervet so I rescued it

I had two in the serengeti, but alas my sd card failed. Probably a good 200 species or more and a few thousand photos
