Two butterflies mating, the third was waiting his turn. When the first mate flew off, the remaining two began their "courting". Safe to say, monogamy is not a reproductive strategy they employ.

Pearl Crescent is correct.
Probably Pearl Crescent....although there are other similar appearing Crescents.
