Undescribed Phasmid

Description:

About 7cm long, with a reddish brown colouration, rather conspicuous on a green leaf, but with its dry-vegetation-appearance it must be almost impossible to make out among the leaf litter.

Habitat:

Tropical rainforest in the Ecuadorian Amazon region.

Notes:

This is a new taxon currently being studied and described.
