Description:

I was surprised to find this grasshopper while hiking at White Sands National Park. It appeared to be almost dead. Mostly light and dark brown bands.

Habitat:

Spotted at White Sands National Park.

Notes:

Ranges from British Columbia to western Untied States to South America.
