One more spotting with very close resemblance https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/13...
Hi Josef. I am not sure if Ropalidia revolutionalis is really found in India. It is mostly an Australian species. It is for sure a Ropalidia sp., but maybe another one, like Ropalidia fasciata. But there are other species found in India. Nuwan has a spotting recently, but I didn't find it again. Key issue would be range and the nice, sometimes heart-shaped yellow patch, which I did not have seen in Revolutionalis. Would you, please, check your spotting again and try to find out more? I do not challenge your ID, just wannted to be sure, that we have the right one ;-)...
Thank you Ava...
Wonderful series.
