Inca Dove

Description:

Small dove with scaled, pale gray-brown upperparts, white throat, and scaled, pale buff (often with pink wash) underparts. The tail is long and squared with a black-bordered gray center and edged in white. Black bill, pink legs and feet. Direct flight with rapid wing beats.

Habitat:

Wildlife habitat yard.

Notes:

It was a cool morning, and these three were lined up on the railing, warming in the sun.

Oops.
They seem to have discovered my back yard, and show up a half dozen at a time to scratch around or visit the bird bath.

You have the description in the scientific name field :) Very cool to see three of them though, I think I've only ever seen three total in my life!
