Lined ruby tiger moth caterpillar

Description:

This type of caterpillar varies from brown to red and orange and has thick dense hair. It also has bands of red dots were the hair protrudes out of its body. It feeds on low growing plants found in gardens.

Habitat:

Gardens, backyards, prairies

Notes:
