Wolf Spider

Lycosa rabida

Description:

This was one of the most amazing interactions I've ever had with a spider. He was in my house, and I was trying to release him but instead he seemed to want attention. He'd continually walk around me, pose for pictures, and all sorts of amazing little things that really won over my heart. My favorite part? He'd only walk if the camera wasn't pointing AT him. He didn't care if I was near, so long as the camera was turned in the other direction. Overall, this particular spider was such a sweet and social arachnid that I could never look at another one in fear or disgust. They're just.. So unique.

Notes:

Look at all the eyes and details in the legs (hence the various shots) and what amazing animals they are!
