The woodpigeon constructs a rather basic structure, so basic it can be seen through. The nest takes a form of simple platform, made of branches and roughly assembled twigs. The bowl is very shallow and is lined with twigs and blades of grass.
Seen on top of a tree in an urban park, next to a residence. The nest is at about 10m of height, and pictures were taken from a 5th storey balcony directly above.
