Unbelievable. I would kill to get shots like these in flight! Great job Ashley!

Thanks Jes! I just wish lighting was better so the blue would pop out way more! And Joshua, I honestly have no idea how these turned out in focus haha. My camera is new (just got it in Dec), and am still figuring it out. It has a function that is excellent at tracking flying birds, but I didn't have it in that mode. I just had it on single shot, which picks one focal length and sticks to it while taking photos, so the fact the bird was moving with fixed focus, I was amazed these were clear lol.

That's so awesome! Neat to hear! Yeah totally...they're gorgeous under sunlight. What no way! That is incredible!

This is only the second time to see this species, and the first photos for me. So I was loving being able to get shots, even though they don't show off how pretty they really are! There were 4 species of swallow down there over the weekend that I saw! Purple martins are already back here in the panhandle, record early for them!

Good shots considering how tough they are to photograph. I could only dream of seeing any Swallow in winter where I live hahaha. Probably the same where you live too I'm sure. :)
