Carolina grasshopper

Dissosteira carolina

Description:

This brownish colored grasshopper crossed my path on a sidewalk while i was walking home from the nearby park i was at photographing the nature. I have always found grasshoppers and other arthropods interesting even though i don't know much about them.

Habitat:

i am assuming they live in grass but they seem to be on the sidewalks and every park in the area.

Grasshoppers aren't Odonates, that is, dragonflies and damselflies.
