Description:

Young snake about 2-2.5 feet.

Habitat:

Wooded trailhead in Chattahoochie National Park in northern Georgia.

Notes:

Found along a trailhead off the Richard B. Russell Highway passing through the Chattahoochie National Park. It was lying straight and still a few feet off the trail attempting to hide in the leaf litter as hikers passed by and didn't take a defensive stance until approached.
