The bug's body was approximately 1/2 inch in length.
It was spotted while crawling on the Common Yarrow at Mount Rainier, WA.
Looks like Leptura quadrifasciata
This reminds me of a flower longhorn beetle. ??The flower is yarrow, Achillea millefolium
