Spotted earlier this spring...not sure what kind of butterfly it is
City Park...Wetland
I thought the butterfly colours looked nice against the dead flowers.
Upon your suggestion I looked around and thought it is very similar to an American Painted lady. I think that it is a female Pearl Crescent
