Cladonia rangiformis
Fruticose lichen. The name rangiformis means reindeer shape maybe because it is similar to C. rangiferina, the reindeer lichen. It presents long branched podetia with green colored areas on a grey-whitish background due to an uneven distribution of the algae. The podetia are sharp ended with dark picnidia and apothecia at the pointed tips of the podetia.
Spotted on the ground, between the moss, in a pine tree and oak forest. Reserva de la Biosfera del Real Sitio de San Ildefonso-El Espinar.
